MRO Facility Consultant (Based in India)

Responsibilities: Lead the planning and coordination of new hangars and supporting facilities, working closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, insurers, and regulatory authorities. Develop functional layouts for hangars, workshops, warehouses, stores, and offices to support base maintenance operations and future requirements. Review technical specifications, support tender evaluations, and recommend the appointment of contractors and procurement of specialised equipment and engineering services. Participate in project, design, engineering, and site meetings while providing technical advice to resolve issues and maintain project progress. Coordinate fire safety requirements with relevant stakeholders and review fire protection systems, testing requirements, maintenance documentation, and regulatory compliance. Oversee and witness testing and commissioning of major engineering equipment, specialised systems, and storage solutions, ensuring proper documentation and readiness for operational handover. Support the development of the facilities organisation, including defining roles, recruitment, training, maintenance requirements, operating procedures, as-built drawings, and maintenance schedules.
