Taking the next step in our strategy to develop and expand our digital offering, we are establishing a new Product Area (PA): Sandvik Applied Manufacturing Technologies (SAMT). Our new PA has a dual mission: to profitable expand SMS position within manufacturing by creating and bringing premium digital offerings to market across the manufacturing value chain; and to support value creation through digitalization across all businesses within SMS. The missions are reflected in the structure of SAMT who consists of two principle parts: The first is a portfolio of customer facing and self-sufficient Business Units (BU) which is growing fast both organically as well as through mergers and acquisitions. The second part is CODE, who from a position within SAMT support both the BU as well as the execution of digital strategy across SMS.

We are now looking for a strong HR Business Partner to support the PA President and the PA management team in driving the rapid growth of the business. As HRBP for SAMT you will be at the heart of creating the future for Sandvik and lead the work to attract new competencies to our industry. This position is located at the SAMT Head Quarters in Stockholm, within walking distance from Sandvik Group Head Quarters.

Your mission – Ensuring qualitative HR-delivery and securing strategies As HRBP for Applied Manufacturing Technologies, your main mission is to enhance organizational performance - in alignment with business needs - from an HR perspective. You support our business as you take full ownership of the HR delivery and you develop and implement a HR strategy that is aligned with our overall business strategy. You promote a HR way of working that supports innovation and commercialization, and you ensure global talent acquisitions and talent management to attract and keep exceptional competence for all our business units. You are responsible for a wide range of HR matters in a new and growing organization, and with a flexible approach, you fill the gaps and overcome potential road-blocks if necessary.

Furthermore, you are accountable for developing networks and establishing partnerships, both internally and in relevant industries and universities, and you liaise with HR contacts in other regions to ensure alignment with local agreements and requirements. As part of our growth ambition includes acquisitions, you will be highly involved in the whole process of the acquisition and the following integration work of acquired companies.

You are an active part of the Management team and report directly to the President of SAMT.

Your character – A grounded, business-minded leader with a proactive approach We are looking for someone with a University degree, preferably within HR, and with a solid background of working with talent acquisition, organizational development, and retention of resources within HR. You have a strong business mind, gained from previous experience of working in management teams addressing strategic challenges. Experience from global organizations and industries are considered a plus. Since we operate in an international setting, you communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

Your structured way of working leads you to success together with your analytical way of thinking, as the two together makes you understand and grasp situations as a whole – allowing you to always be one step ahead.
