Chief Operating Officer
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of production, logistics, supply chain, and warehouse.
Ensure operational processes comply with company policies and safety standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor KPIs across departments to ensure targets are achieved.
Production & Process Optimization
Review production schedules and performance reports.
Implement process improvements to increase productivity.
Monitor quality control standards.
Analyze production data to increase output and reduce downtime.
Team Leadership & Supervision
Manage supervisors and operational teams.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Conduct regular meetings to review operations.
Support recruitment and training of staff.
Logistics & Supply Chain
Ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners.
Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts.
Monitor inventory levels.
Risk, Compliance & Safety
Ensure workplace safety standards.
Conduct risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Oversee maintenance schedules.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare weekly/monthly reports.
Track KPIs including productivity and costs.
Provide recommendations for improvement.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
MBA is a plus.
Experience
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in operations or industrial management.
Experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industry preferred.
Proven experience leading large teams.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of operations, production, and logistics.
Leadership and people-management skills.
Analytical and data-driven decision making.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure
