Who We're Looking For
RF-SMART is currently seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer II to be a part of building the future of RF-SMART products focused on supply chain in multiple industries across mobile, web and server components while working with a great team. As a QA Automation Engineer II, you’ll design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites that ensure the reliability and scalability of RF-SMART’s software products. You’ll collaborate closely with QA, Product, and Development teams to increase automation coverage and drive efficiency in the testing. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse, innovative team.
What You'll Do:
Design and implement API test automation covering REST, SOAP, and gRPC interfaces to validate service-level functionality and performance.
Develop and maintain browser-based automated tests using modern frameworks to ensure consistent cross-browser behavior.
Build and maintain automated mobile testing solutions for RF-SMART's mobile applications, including device farm integration and real-device testing strategies.
Build robust regression and smoke test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, prioritize, and implement automation opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot automation issues and ensure high reliability of test results.
Contribute to strategic automation planning and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring:
3–5 years of experience in test automation with strong programming skills, preferably in TypeScript.
Proven experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
Hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, or similar) with working knowledge of REST, SOAP, and gRPC protocols.
Experience automating mobile application testing using frameworks such as Appium, Detox, or comparable tools, including integration with device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm).
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
