🌟 Take the Lead in Finance & Organisational Growth
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership while playing a key role in the organisation's growth, sustainability and development of new opportunities.
This is a newly created leadership position offering the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and Board , shape financial strategy and contribute beyond traditional finance into business development, funding, strategic partnerships and organisational growth .
What You'll Be Doing
💰 Financial Leadership
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial reporting
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, risk management and compliance frameworks
- Oversee audits, tax matters, regulatory reporting and statutory requirements
- Develop and enhance finance policies, procedures and systems
- Monitor financial performance, risks and opportunities
- Ensure effective stewardship of organisational funds and resources
📈 Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Identify opportunities for the development and expansion of community care services
- Research emerging needs, market trends, funding opportunities and service gaps
- Develop business cases and financial models for new programmes and initiatives
- Evaluate the financial sustainability and feasibility of proposed projects
- Explore opportunities to diversify revenue streams and develop sustainable growth models
- Support long-term organisational growth and sustainability strategies
🤝 Funding & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify potential government grants, philanthropic funding, corporate sponsorships and other funding opportunities
- Develop financial components of grant and funding applications
- Establish financial frameworks to monitor the use and impact of funded programmes
- Support fundraising and donor engagement strategies through financial analysis and reporting
- Build relationships with funders, investors, donors and strategic partners
- Explore joint programmes, shared services, co-funding and collaborative initiatives
⚙️ Operational & Organisational Effectiveness
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to improve organisational efficiency and resource allocation
- Review financial and operational performance across programmes and services
- Drive effective resource allocation to maximise organisational impact
- Support workforce and capacity planning from a financial sustainability perspective
- Strengthen systems and processes to support future organisational growth
📊 Board & Senior Management Advisory
- Provide strategic financial advice to the Board and senior leadership team
- Present financial performance, forecasts, risks and opportunities at Board and management meetings
- Advise on investment decisions, major projects, capital expenditure and strategic initiatives
- Support the development and execution of the organisation's strategic plan
- Provide objective financial advice on new initiatives and major organisational decisions
