Business Development Representative
RecordPoint is a data and information lifecycle management SaaS product designed to give highly-regulated organizations a competitive edge through safer, more secure, and better-managed data. We're a disruptor in our industry, set apart from competitors by our cutting edge technology and innovation-first mindset.
Our global customer list includes top-tier brands and government agencies like the City of New York, Westpac, National Australia Bank (NAB), Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), Security Benefit, Cupertino Electric, Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC), Transport for NSW, Ausgrid, and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
But there's more to us than the what we do — like the who behind it all. Team RecordPoint is made up of 130+ tech-driven professionals at the top of their respective fields. Together, we foster a supportive, collaborative and transparent environment, collectively working toward the singular goal of continuously doing better.
About the Opportunity Business development is the engine of RecordPoint's growth, and the Business Development Representative sits at the front of it. BDRs are the first point of contact for the majority of our new-business opportunities, turning inbound interest and targeted outbound effort into qualified pipeline for the sales team. In a market where we are defining a category, the quality of that first conversation shapes how prospects understand what we do. This role exists to generate qualified early-stage pipeline efficiently, so that each Account Executive's time is spent on opportunities most likely to convert. It is an outcomes role: success is measured by the qualified pipeline created and progressed, not by activity volume alone. It suits someone genuinely curious about SaaS and the impact of technology, who builds rapport quickly, is tenacious and organised, and wants a visible role with a clear path into wider sales and go-to-market careers. RecordPoint is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, including those from underrepresented groups in the technology industry.
What you'll be accountable for 1 / Pipeline Generation

Design and execute multi-touch outbound sequences (email, phone, LinkedIn) into target accounts with no prior inbound or signal engagement
Personalize outreach using account research, trigger events, and relevant regulatory or industry news
3 / Qualification & Consultative Discovery
Understand prospect needs well enough to qualify accurately and set the sales team up to win.
Guide prospects through early needs analysis and discovery to qualify fit and intent.
Partner with Account Executives to analyse target-customer needs and hand over well-qualified opportunities.
Represent RecordPoint credibly as a first point of contact in a category-defining market.
