We are seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer specialized in Aircraft Engine Externals Design to join our dynamic aerospace engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of control systems for aircraft engines, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety.
Due to the nature of these roles, applicants must be US Citizens and currently hold a clearance.
This role is 100% onsite in Cincinnati, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
Update requirements and develop linked control updates
Run, analyze, and plot NPSS and dry rig test cases
Develop simulation interfaces between engine model and control simulation
Update AS/OS control interfaces as required
Document build and simulation updating process
Develop SCADE/Simulink diagrams based on requirements in CAMEO per program software standards
Follow the Hierarchical Control Architecture (HCA) for appropriate data flow and update the HCA to keep it current
Determine test protocols from the requirements and create test cases for requirements-based testing
Use configuration management per program software standards
Prepare and present review packages for informal and formal reviews
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (BSME required).
Experience with NPSS, SCADE, and Simulink (minimum of 1+ years)
Proven experience in control systems engineering, preferably in aerospace or aviation industries, with a focus on aircraft engines with 3-6 years of experience.
Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently hold or be willing to obtain a clearance.

Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
Substantial amounts of telephone, video conferencing and computer work.
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations

Pay Ranges
$90,000 — $120,000 USD
