Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Hourly Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience) Working Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week (part-time considered)
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Podiatrist to join Hertfordshire Community Trust at Bull Plain Clinic, Hertford. This community-based role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with complex podiatric needs, particularly those with diabetes and other high-risk conditions.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing tailored treatment programmes to improve patient outcomes and support long-term foot health within the community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality podiatry care within a community setting
Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with diabetes and high-risk foot conditions
Develop and implement specialised and complex care programmes
Provide patient-focused treatment plans to improve outcomes and quality of life
Maintain accurate clinical records using SystemOne
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
Support patient education and preventative care initiatives
Qualifications and Experience
HCPC registered Podiatrist
Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent
Strong background in managing diabetic and high-risk patients
Working knowledge of SystemOne (essential)
Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for community role)
