Overview: Treasury Manager The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's treasury operations, including cash management, cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and investment analysis. This role ensures the organization maintains adequate liquidity to support operations while maximizing the performance of available cash and investments. The Treasury Manager partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Executive Leadership, and operational leaders to provide strategic financial insights and support organizational initiatives. This position requires a highly organized, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Essential Responsibilities Cash Management & Forecasting Develop, maintain, and enhance short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts. Monitor daily cash positions across all bank accounts to ensure adequate liquidity. Analyze cash inflows and outflows to identify trends and improve forecasting accuracy. Recommend strategies to optimize cash utilization and working capital. Treasury & Investment Management Monitor and analyze the organization's investment portfolio and cash reserves. Coordinate investment activities in accordance with organizational policies. Evaluate banking relationships and recommend opportunities for improvement. Assist with debt management, financing activities, and treasury-related reporting. Ensure compliance with treasury policies, banking agreements, and internal controls. Financial Analysis Prepare treasury reports, cash flow analyses, and financial presentations for senior leadership. Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making. Identify risks related to liquidity, cash management, and investments while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. Project Management Lead or participate in treasury-related system implementations and process improvement initiatives. Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and operational leadership to improve treasury processes. Compliance & Controls Maintain strong internal controls surrounding cash management and treasury activities. Assist with annual audits by providing treasury documentation and support. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable financial regulations. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Certified Treasury Professional certification is required. Experience 2–4 years of treasury management, corporate finance, or cash management experience preferred. Experience with cash forecasting and liquidity management required. Experience analyzing cash positions, investments, and financial trends required. Experience within senior living or healthcare is preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of treasury management principles and cash forecasting techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful recommendations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience with ERP systems (Workday experience preferred). Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
