No prior work history is necessary. We are willing to train the right candidates! Interns will be assigned a full-time mentor and will be embedded in team projects where possible.

Data Science & Machine Learning Activities Python programming

Acquiring geospatial data, find open-source software to parse data

Researching state-of-the art ML algorithms

Reviewing research and development (R&D) requirements and opportunities

Assisting in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data sets.

Developing and implementing machine learning models under the guidance of data scientists.

Experimenting with different algorithms and techniques to solve specific problems.

Visualizing data and presenting findings to the team.

Collaborating with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are robust and efficient.

Qualifications US Citizenship required

Major in computer science, engineering, MIS, or information technology

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Thorough understanding of internet research

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Job Details Remote work allowed

Laptop provided

Expected hours: ~10 per week
