Senior Legal Counsel | Commodities & Energy | 8+ PQE (CL-OC-44)
A leading international commodities and energy group is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support its global trading, investment and business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on international trade contracts and complex commercial matters.
- Support cross-border investments and M&A transactions.
- Manage international trade disputes, litigation and arbitration.
- Advise on export controls, antitrust and cross-border compliance matters.
- Coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant legal experience gained with an established law firm and/or large corporation.
- Qualified in Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK, the US or another common law jurisdiction.
- Strong experience in international trade, cross-border transactions or disputes.
- Commodities and/or energy sector experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Chinese to work with English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced international environment and travelling when required.
