Lucid Motors is seeking a highly experienced Senior Global Supply Manager (Sr. GSM) to lead Accessories sourcing activities for the Global Service organization. This role is responsible for the end-to-end commercial ownership of vehicle accessories—including supplier strategy, cost management, sourcing governance, and lifecycle execution—from concept through launch and sustained production.

Based in the United States (Tempe, AZ or Newark, CA) , the Sr. GSM will partner closely with Accessories Engineering, Design, Quality, Planning, Logistics, and Service Operations.

This role requires strong strategic judgment, deep supplier expertise, and the ability to balance premium brand expectations, cost discipline, scalability, and speed to market .

Key Responsibilities

Accessories Sourcing & Strategy

Own the global sourcing strategy for Vehicle Accessories (e.g., floor mats, cargo solutions, covers, adapters, lifestyle accessories)

Coordinate the definition of the supplier selection strategy , including make/buy, single vs. dual sourcing, regional vs. global supply models

Partner with Engineering and Design to influence supplier capability alignment, and cost targets

Lead RFQ strategy, supplier down-selection, and business award recommendations

Commercial & Supplier Ownership

Independently lead complex negotiations covering piece price, tooling, NRE/EDT, MOQs, lead times, and warranty terms

Own and manage Accessories-related MSAs, SOWs, and long-term agreements

Act as the primary commercial escalation point for accessories suppliers

Ensure supplier commercial compliance with Lucid policies and accessory business requirements

Development, Launch & Lifecycle Management

Partner with SQE and Engineering on APQP, PPAP, Run@Rate, and launch readiness for accessory programs

Ensure Accessories suppliers meet quality, timing, and branding expectations

Own end-to-end lifecycle management , including cost reductions, running changes, dual sourcing, and end-of-life strategies

Drive smooth transitions from development to series production and service sustainment

Cost, Performance & Risk Management

Own cost savings and cost avoidance targets for the Accessories portfolio

Establish and review supplier scorecards (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness)

Identify and mitigate supply, cost, and capacity risks proactively

Monitor market trends, materials, and manufacturing technologies relevant to accessories

Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence

Serve as the Accessories commercial lead across Service, Engineering, Design, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Legal

Mentor and guide GSM-level team members supporting regional execution

Provide executive-level reporting on Accessories sourcing status, supplier health, cost outlook, and launch readiness

Drive standardization and scalable processes for Accessories sourcing globally

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience

8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, in an automotive or manufacturing environment, for Direct Materials (preferred)

Proven success leading strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations for finished goods and assemblies

Experience supporting product development and launch cycles

Strong understanding of quality systems, lifecycle cost management, and supplier performance management

Advanced analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management capability

Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems , Excel, PowerPoint, and program management tools

Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, premium-brand, growth environment

Salary Range : The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (Annual) $121,900 — $167,640 USD

Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
