Principal Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care
Our client looking for an experienced and dynamic Principal Occupational Therapist to lead OT practice across both Adult Social Care and Children’s Services at Bristol. This role sits at the heart of Bristol’s transformation agenda — perfect for someone who can think strategically, influence senior leaders, and drive meaningful change.
6‑Month Contract | Hybrid (2 Days Office)
What will your responsibilities be?
Lead the strategic direction of OT across Adults and Children’s Services
Strengthen OT pathways and embed strengths‑based, person‑centred practice
Drive key elements of the Adult Social Care transformation programme
Provide expert professional leadership, governance and quality assurance
Support workforce development and influence training and practice priorities
Use performance data to drive quality, improvement and consistency
Benefits:

6‑month contract
Hybrid: ideally 2 days per week in the office, remainder from home

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
HCPC‑registered OT (DipCOT / BSc or equivalent)
Strong social care OT background with leadership/management experience
Proven ability to lead service improvement and influence senior stakeholders
Confidence in driving change, redesigning pathways and embedding new models
Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
