Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for its client’s Home First Team (Adult Social Care), based in Dorchester.
Our client’s Home First Occupational Therapy Team is expanding to meet the growing demand for hospital discharge support, active recovery, and reablement services. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join this dynamic and fast-paced team.
What will your responsibilities be?
You’ll work collaboratively with health and community partners to deliver person-centred care that improves individual outcomes. The OT team is a core part of the wider Home First Social Care Team, operating across all areas of Dorset. You’ll maintain strong links with all three area clusters, ensuring a joined-up approach to service delivery.
This role involves:
Supporting timely hospital discharges
Delivering active recovery and reablement packages
Conducting visits across the county
Building strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams
Location & Working Style:
Based at County Hall, Dorchester
Hybrid working supported (office-based and WFH)
Travel required across Dorset
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
Experience in adult social care, hospital discharge, or reablement
Ability to work independently and across teams
Car driver with access to a vehicle preferred
