Locum Occupational Therapist
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Adult Social Care directorate, based in Ipswich, on a 6‑month agency contract. This role will support proactive reviews and assessments, playing a key part in reducing OT waiting lists and improving service efficiency.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
Provide safe and timely delivery of front‑line occupational therapy services across the directorate
Proactively undertake occupational therapy reviews and assessments
Support triage activity and reduce duplication between health and social care
Assist with occupational therapy waiting list reduction initiatives
Support external care providers to ensure safe and correct moving and handling practices
Review and rationalise care packages to ensure best value and appropriate equipment use
Review:
Double‑handed care packages
Waking night care packages
General care packages
Provide mutual aid to other occupational therapy teams as required
Complete Care Act–compliant assessments and reviews
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration
Experience within Adult Social Care
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Strong moving and handling experience
