What you'll do:
You'll be a trusted, familiar face for patients each week — verifying identities, dispensing medication safely, and providing compassionate care in a fast-paced but supportive OTP clinic setting. You'll work closely with our Nurse Manager, Medical Director, and Clinical Supervisor, and step in during crisis moments when patients need you most.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Greeting patients and confirming identity with two-identifier protocol
Dispensing medication per clinical protocol and managing inventory
Conducting physical exams and medical evaluations as needed
Collecting and processing specimens
Maintaining accurate, timely documentation (within 24 hours)
Participating in intake, readmission, and transfer reviews
Coordinating with outside agencies on referrals and dosage verification
Providing crisis intervention and supporting the Charge Nurse in daily operations
What you bring:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active LPN license in Maryland
1+ year of experience in medication-assisted treatment
CPR certification (can be obtained within 3 months of hire)
Ability to complete a PPD screening (or provide proof from the past year)
