Accountabilities:
Lead the technical direction of infrastructure security initiatives across cloud-native platforms and distributed systems.
Design and establish secure architectural patterns, reference implementations, and automation frameworks that improve infrastructure resilience.
Conduct comprehensive security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and drive effective remediation strategies.
Define and promote best practices for AI-assisted security engineering, enabling scalable and efficient security operations.
Partner with engineering teams to align security priorities with business objectives while providing technical guidance on architectural decisions.
Drive multi-team security programs from concept through implementation, translating complex challenges into measurable outcomes.
Mentor engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Support the ongoing enhancement of infrastructure security through secure development practices and operational security initiatives.
Requirements
Extensive experience in infrastructure security within public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong expertise with Kubernetes, container security, cloud infrastructure, and modern infrastructure security principles.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby, with experience developing production-grade security tools or automation.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, as well as policy-as-code and automated compliance practices.
Practical knowledge of applying AI technologies to improve security engineering workflows and operational efficiency.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technical initiatives and influencing engineering teams on strategic security decisions.
Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or FedRAMP.
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
