Solutions Architect - Commercial (Professional Services)
Accountabilities: The Solutions Architect will serve as the primary technical partner for commercial customers, leading successful implementations and enabling organizations to adopt secure software development practices. This role requires strong technical leadership, customer collaboration, and the ability to connect engineering solutions with business outcomes.
Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of secure software solutions across customer organizations.
Partner with account teams, including sales, customer success, support, and solutions engineering, to understand customer goals, challenges, and technical requirements.
Serve as a trusted customer advisor by guiding architecture decisions, implementation strategies, and best practices.
Act as a customer-focused technical resource by testing solutions, documenting processes, and ensuring high-quality onboarding experiences.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, identify requirements, and influence future solutions.
Maintain customer architecture documentation and share technical insights, lessons learned, and best practices across teams.
Support continuous improvement by contributing knowledge, documentation, and technical guidance.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to executive audiences.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a technically experienced solutions professional with strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, customer-facing implementation experience, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. You should enjoy solving challenging problems, collaborating across teams, and helping organizations improve their software development practices.
4+ years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications with hands-on experience in Kubernetes and container technologies.
2+ years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales customer-facing technical role.
Strong understanding of software development processes, engineering practices, and application architecture concepts.
Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous learning and technical excellence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
