Senior Staff Engineer (AI & Agentic Engineering )
Accountabilities: Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven features, autonomous workflows, decision engines, and LLM-powered capabilities from concept through production.
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, ambiguous initiatives, defining both the problem space and the technical approach independently.
Own architectural decisions for AI and agentic systems, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable integration with existing platform services.
Collaborate closely with engineering and product leadership to shape product strategy, technical roadmaps, and AI adoption opportunities.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify practical use cases that deliver measurable customer value.
Establish engineering standards, technical patterns, and best practices for AI and agentic application development.
Mentor fellow engineers by providing technical guidance, architectural reviews, and thought leadership across AI initiatives.
Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and strategic recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in backend, distributed systems, or software engineering with ownership of large-scale production systems.
Hands-on experience building production-grade AI applications using LLMs, agent frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool-calling, or similar technologies.
Proven ability to independently drive 0-to-1 product development and deliver solutions in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Strong software architecture and system design expertise, with confidence making and defending technical decisions.
Experience collaborating across engineering, architecture, and product teams to define technical direction and product strategy.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated mindset with the ability to prioritize, execute, and deliver without detailed specifications.
Experience with .NET and C# is highly desirable.
Previous experience in startup or high-growth environments is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with e-commerce, ERP platforms, integrations, or transaction-heavy systems is a plus.
