Senior Salesforce Administrator
Accountabilities: As the Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will own the Salesforce platform end-to-end, ensuring stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will manage configuration, automation, integrations, data governance, and release processes while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Own the Salesforce environment, including configuration, automation, security, data integrity, and overall platform health.
Manage user roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, workflows, validation rules, and declarative automation.
Translate business requirements from Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and Finance into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Maintain and improve Salesforce architecture, including data models, object relationships, and automation frameworks.
Drive data quality initiatives, including duplicate management, reporting accuracy, and platform governance.
Lead Salesforce change management processes, prioritizing requests based on business impact and technical complexity.
Design, execute, and maintain QA processes, including testing plans, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment validation.
Manage sandbox environments, release processes, deployment practices, and production quality standards.
Troubleshoot platform issues, conduct root cause analysis, and proactively reduce technical debt.
Maintain documentation covering system architecture, integrations, workflows, and operational procedures.
Support revenue technology initiatives, including integrations, automation workflows, and improvements across connected business systems.
Partner with external technical resources when needed by defining requirements, reviewing solutions, and ensuring successful delivery.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced Salesforce professional with strong technical expertise, platform ownership experience, and the ability to operate independently in a complex business environment. You should be comfortable balancing hands-on execution with strategic thinking to improve systems and enable teams.
5+ years of experience administering and developing Salesforce Sales Cloud, ideally as the primary platform owner within a B2B SaaS environment.
Strong experience with Salesforce configuration, automation, and platform architecture.
Hands-on Apex development experience, including writing, debugging, and maintaining classes, triggers, and test coverage.
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Flow, validation rules, approval processes, and declarative development best practices.
Experience building and maintaining Lightning Web Components.
Strong understanding of Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, middleware, field mappings, and synchronization troubleshooting.
Deep knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, object relationships, security architecture, permissions, and access management.
Experience managing Salesforce releases, sandbox strategies, deployments, testing standards, and documentation.
Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification required.
Salesforce Platform Developer, Platform App Builder, or Advanced Administrator certifications are strongly preferred.
Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n is an advantage.
Familiarity with integrations involving tools such as HubSpot, NetSuite, Gong, Zendesk, Snowflake, or similar platforms is a plus.
Experience supporting Revenue Operations, Sales, or Customer Success teams in a SaaS environment is highly valuable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Must be eligible to work in Canada and willing to complete required security checks.
