Senior React Native Engineer

Accountabilities: Lead the implementation and delivery of major mobile product features, from technical design through release and ongoing support.

Drive improvements in code quality, architecture, design patterns, and engineering practices across the mobile application ecosystem.

Take end-to-end ownership of the features you build, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and customer experience.

Conduct code reviews, promote testing best practices, and contribute to a strong quality and automation culture.

Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused mobile experiences.

Help define technical direction and contribute to architecture decisions for scalable React Native applications.

Optimize application performance and ensure smooth mobile experiences across different devices and platforms.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, including CI/CD practices, release processes, and development workflows.

Stay current with mobile technology trends and contribute knowledge of the React Native ecosystem to the wider engineering team.

Requirements:

Proven experience building and delivering mobile applications using React Native.

Strong software engineering background with experience developing high-quality, production-level mobile products.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical improvements, define coding standards, and influence engineering practices.

Experience owning and delivering complex features and products from concept to deployment.

Hands-on experience with native iOS and/or Android development environments, including app store release processes.

Strong knowledge of TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern testing and quality practices.

Experience working within product-driven teams focused on delivering highly performant applications.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with a strong understanding of customer and business needs.

Deep knowledge of software engineering best practices and the React Native technology landscape.

Exposure to CI pipelines, continuous delivery practices, AWS, event-driven architectures, or CQRS-based systems is a plus.

Familiarity with Apple and Android UX guidelines is preferred.

Experience in payments, banking, or financial technology environments is an advantage.
