Accountabilities: The Senior Director, Pharmacometrics will lead strategic consulting engagements by applying advanced modeling and simulation expertise to support client objectives. This role requires strong scientific leadership, client partnership skills, and the ability to translate complex pharmacometric analyses into actionable insights for drug development programs.

Lead and collaborate with cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver client-focused pharmacometric solutions and strategic recommendations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, advising on the effective use of modeling and simulation throughout drug development programs.

Provide strategic guidance on study design, model development, simulation approaches, and interpretation of results.

Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their objectives and delivering tailored scientific solutions.

Independently develop, evaluate, and apply advanced population PK, PK/PD, and exposure-response models using industry-standard software.

Design pharmacometric analysis plans and data requirement documents aligned with appropriate methodologies and global regulatory expectations.

Prepare high-quality pharmacometric reports, regulatory documentation, presentations, and scientific deliverables.

Interpret modeling outcomes and communicate findings clearly to scientific, clinical, and regulatory stakeholders.

Mentor junior scientists by sharing technical knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting professional development.

Contribute to the improvement of internal processes, methodologies, and consulting best practices.

Develop and deliver workshops, training materials, and educational sessions to support knowledge sharing.

Support business development activities, including proposals, project scopes, and promotion of consulting services.

Represent the organization as a scientific leader and advocate for the continued growth of pharmacometrics consulting capabilities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced pharmacometric leader with deep expertise in population PK and PK/PD modeling, strong consulting capabilities, and a passion for advancing data-driven approaches in drug development.

12+ years of professional experience in population PK and PK/PD modeling and simulation.

Master’s degree in pharmacometrics, PK/PD, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, statistics, engineering, or a related scientific field.

PhD in pharmacometrics, PK/PD, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, statistics, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Strong professional experience applying pharmacometrics within clinical pharmacology and drug development programs.

Advanced proficiency with pharmacometric tools such as Monolix, NONMEM, and R.

Experience developing, evaluating, and interpreting complex pharmacometric models and simulations.

Ability to create and deliver compelling scientific presentations to diverse audiences.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to scientific detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Self-motivated professional who thrives in challenging environments and takes ownership of outcomes.

Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings, training sessions, and industry conferences.
