Accountabilities:
The Senior Business Manager will provide comprehensive financial and tax advisory support while managing complex client relationships. This role combines technical accounting expertise, strategic planning, and operational oversight to ensure clients receive proactive and high-quality guidance.
Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns, including multi-state filings.
Lead tax planning initiatives, projections, and year-end strategies for high-net-worth individuals and related entities.
Research tax regulations, legislative changes, and transaction-related matters to provide informed recommendations.
Review financial statements, cash flow projections, and financial reports to support business and personal financial decisions.
Assist with asset acquisitions, leasing arrangements, financing activities, escrow coordination, and lender communications.
Evaluate insurance coverage and support recommendations to ensure appropriate protection strategies are maintained.
Act as a primary advisor alongside leadership, supporting client relationships and participating in strategic discussions.
Build trusted relationships with clients while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Support onboarding processes for new clients and contribute to improving internal workflows and operational processes.
Provide guidance and oversight across complex financial matters involving multiple income sources and business structures.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with strong tax knowledge, advisory capabilities, and the ability to manage sophisticated client relationships with confidence and discretion.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Active CPA certification required.
7+ years of experience in tax, business management, public accounting, family office, or related environments.
Strong expertise in tax compliance and planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and trusts.
Experience managing complex financial situations for high-net-worth clients.
Familiarity with entertainment, digital talent, sports, or other specialized income streams is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and strategic financial planning.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to advise clients effectively.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a client-focused environment.
Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential financial information.
