Resource Planning & Readiness Manager
Accountabilities: The Resource Planning & Readiness Manager ensures opportunities are properly prepared for successful staffing by validating resource requirements, improving planning accuracy, and maintaining alignment across business functions.
Own the review, validation, and approval process for Resource Plans before opportunities transition to staffing.
Verify that roles, skills, staffing assumptions, effort estimates, and delivery requirements are complete and accurate.
Ensure required leadership approvals are obtained, including plans involving multiple practices or technical areas.
Maintain alignment between resource plans, forecasts, opportunity updates, and operational systems.
Identify scope changes, inconsistencies, or risks and coordinate updates before opportunities progress.
Review opportunities for staffing readiness and challenge unclear or incomplete resource requirements.
Partner with Sales Engineering, Account Executives, Delivery teams, and leadership to clarify project needs.
Identify specialized skill requirements, contractor needs, and upcoming capacity challenges to provide early visibility.
Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Delivery, Operations, and Resource Management teams.
Support ongoing staffing activities by ensuring opportunity information remains accurate and up to date.
Collaborate on operational requirements such as consultant onboarding steps, background checks, and deployment readiness.
Contribute to improving resource planning processes in a fast-growing and evolving organization.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings experience in resource planning, workforce management, staffing operations, or professional services environments, with strong analytical capabilities and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in resource management, staffing, deployment, workforce planning, or professional services operations.
Experience working within technology services, consulting, or software delivery organizations preferred.
Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystems or similar technology platforms is a plus.
Understanding of professional services delivery models, capacity planning, and staffing processes.
Ability to evaluate technical resource needs and understand consulting roles and skill requirements.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to identify issues and challenge assumptions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, including experience working with senior leaders.
Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.
Comfortable working in environments where processes are continuously evolving and improving.
