Accountabilities: As a Quality Assurance Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions while collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs. Build and expand test automation frameworks using Playwright, creating production-ready scripts from the beginning. Support and enhance existing test coverage using tools such as Cypress and Postman. Develop detailed test scenarios and automation scripts rather than only executing pre-existing test suites. Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, analyze, and resolve defects. Validate application functionality, reliability, and performance through structured testing practices. Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues clearly to technical leads and project stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation strategies. Requirements: We are looking for a QA professional with strong automation experience, solid testing fundamentals, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment. 5+ years of professional experience as a QA Developer with strong knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies. Proven experience testing both web applications and APIs. Hands-on experience developing automated tests with Playwright, including writing and maintaining automation scripts. Experience with Cypress and Postman for automated testing and API validation. Strong understanding of test design, defect management, and quality assurance processes. Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers and technical teams. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2) for communication in an international environment. Ability to work remotely and collaborate within US Central Time Zone working hours. Availability to provide personal equipment, including a laptop suitable for development activities. Benefits: Fully remote work model from Brazil or other eligible Latin American locations.
