Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager (Oncology experience required)

Accountabilities: The Project Manager/Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex clinical research programs, ensuring projects meet sponsor expectations, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and operational objectives.

Manage international clinical trial projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, senior leadership, and key project stakeholders regarding study progress and operational updates.

Develop, review, and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, and study documentation.

Organize and facilitate project meetings throughout the study lifecycle, including initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.

Coordinate project team members, provide guidance and training when needed, and ensure effective task allocation.

Represent the organization in external meetings with sponsors, scientific experts, regulatory committees, and industry partners.

Support the development and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and study-specific training materials to ensure regulatory compliance.

Manage relationships with external service providers and support vendor selection and oversight activities.

Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure effective resolution of operational challenges.

Contribute to proposal development and bid defense activities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced clinical research project leader with strong knowledge of oncology trials, CRO environments, and international study management. They should demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience managing international clinical trials within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.

Strong knowledge and experience within oncology and/or rare disease therapeutic areas.

Experience managing external vendors and service providers.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex clinical research activities.

Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.

Experience working with sponsors, medical experts, and clinical research stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.

Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory expectations, and industry standards.
