Accountabilities:
The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end solutions while collaborating with technical teams to ensure quality, scalability, and business alignment. Key responsibilities include:
Participating actively in development teams by reviewing, improving, and validating code implementations.
Creating and maintaining web services and back-end applications using Java.
Writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
Collaborating with UX, back-end, and front-end teams to define and implement technical solutions.
Supporting technical refinement of user stories and evaluating technical feasibility.
Designing solutions to address complex challenges and improve system performance.
Developing and maintaining integrations and services within the Genesys Cloud ecosystem.
Applying agile methodologies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborating on solutions involving APIs, microservices, and messaging architectures.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has strong back-end development experience, knowledge of Java ecosystems, and the ability to work collaboratively in agile teams. Required qualifications include:
Experience with Java programming and back-end application development.
Knowledge of the Spring ecosystem.
Experience developing IVR flows using the Genesys platform.
Knowledge of Genesys Cloud API structures and integrations.
Experience with web services and general API concepts.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and software delivery practices.
Knowledge of databases and data management concepts.
Understanding of basic networking concepts.
Experience with agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
Ability to analyze problems and propose effective technical solutions.
Experience with microservices architecture and messaging tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
