Accountabilities:
The .Net/AWS Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications while contributing to software quality, scalability, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration, and a commitment to engineering best practices.
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Build and support event-driven architectures using Amazon SQS and SNS.
Develop, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices hosted on AWS.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews and promote clean code, maintainability, and development best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and implement scalable solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Write well-documented, maintainable, and efficient code.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across development processes and cloud architecture.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced .NET developer with strong cloud expertise and a passion for building scalable, event-driven applications. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in collaborative Agile environments.
5+ years of professional experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services.
Strong experience implementing event-driven messaging solutions using Amazon SQS and SNS.
Proven experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
Solid understanding of asynchronous programming models and messaging patterns.
Experience with Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL Server.
Proficiency with Git version control and modern CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, or EKS is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation), CloudWatch, DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, or automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) is a plus.
