Accountabilities:
The Market Intelligence Lead will own the analytical foundation behind a growing research and benchmarking platform, transforming complex datasets into clear insights for customers, partners, and industry audiences. This role requires strong analytical thinking, research capabilities, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to business stakeholders.
Develop and maintain recurring market benchmarks focused on real estate development activity, cost trends, project performance, and industry dynamics.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify meaningful patterns, emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within the commercial real estate market.
Produce original research reports, market analyses, and data-driven narratives that support strategic decision-making.
Clean, structure, validate, and prepare complex datasets using analytical tools such as SQL and Excel.
Translate quantitative findings into clear insights that can be understood by developers, investors, executives, and other industry professionals.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure research findings are effectively positioned and communicated.
Present market intelligence through webinars, industry discussions, publications, and external-facing initiatives.
Continuously improve research methodologies, analytical processes, and intelligence capabilities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical professional with experience in market research, commercial real estate analysis, economic insights, or related fields. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, identifying business-relevant trends, and communicating complex information clearly.
Experience analyzing markets, industries, or business performance through research, consulting, financial analysis, brokerage research, or similar roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful insights.
Hands-on experience cleaning, validating, and preparing data for analysis.
Advanced Excel skills and experience using SQL for data analysis; familiarity with Snowflake or similar data platforms is a plus.
Understanding of commercial real estate, real estate development, construction economics, or adjacent industries.
Ability to transform analytical findings into concise, compelling narratives for professional audiences.
Independent research mindset with strong curiosity and the ability to investigate complex questions with limited supervision.
Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Experience producing market reports, industry research, or economic analysis is preferred.
Familiarity with statistical analysis, econometrics, or financial modeling is a plus.
