Accountabilities: The role focuses on supporting government affairs strategies, maintaining strong external relationships, and providing insights that help navigate evolving regulatory environments. Support engagement activities with central government ministries, regulatory agencies, and industry associations to advance business and policy objectives. Build and maintain effective relationships with government representatives, industry bodies, and external stakeholders to encourage constructive policy dialogue. Monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments, assessing their potential impact and providing timely updates to internal teams. Assist in developing government engagement plans, advocacy initiatives, policy responses, and stakeholder communication materials. Collaborate with Legal, Trade Compliance, Operations, Sustainability, and business teams to gather insights and support policy positions. Prepare briefing documents, policy summaries, stakeholder maps, and leadership engagement materials. Represent the organization in relevant industry forums, working groups, and association meetings when required. Support initiatives related to manufacturing, trade, supply chain resilience, sustainability, and regulatory matters affecting the technology sector. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings experience in government affairs, public policy, or corporate relations, with strong knowledge of regulatory environments and stakeholder management. 5–7 years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Corporate Affairs, or industry association roles, preferably within technology, electronics manufacturing, or industrial sectors. Bachelor’s degree required; a postgraduate qualification in Public Policy, Economics, Law, International Relations, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. Experience engaging with government ministries, regulatory agencies, and industry associations. Strong understanding of India’s policy and regulatory landscape, including manufacturing, trade, investment, and supply chain topics. Familiarity with export controls, licensing frameworks, international trade regulations, and related policy considerations is an advantage. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across public and private sector organizations. Excellent analytical, research, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convert complex regulatory topics into clear business recommendations.
