Managed PKI Services Manager

Accountabilities: As a Managed PKI Services Manager, you will own the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of authentication services while ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient operations.

Lead end-to-end service management for managed PKI solutions, including certificate enrollment, lifecycle management, cloud HSM administration, and certificate provisioning.

Manage relationships with external service providers, ensuring delivery against SLAs, security standards, and compliance requirements.

Oversee outsourced PKI operations and support activities to maintain reliable and efficient service delivery.

Maintain secure certificate provisioning and deprovisioning processes across users, devices, and systems.

Manage automated and exception-based certificate enrollment workflows.

Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvements across certificate lifecycle processes.

Own administration and service management of secure enterprise browser solutions, including access policies, security controls, and user experience improvements.

Configure and maintain browser security policies, including data loss prevention controls, threat protection, and AI-related security guardrails.

Manage identity-based access policies using Microsoft Entra ID and zero-trust security frameworks.

Coordinate with security, end-user computing, IT teams, and external technology providers to resolve issues and improve services.

Contribute to broader identity and access management initiatives involving Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.

Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams to translate business requirements into secure and automated solutions.

Support IAM strategy development, implementation, and operational improvements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced identity and security professional with strong expertise in PKI, authentication services, automation, and enterprise infrastructure management.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

7+ years of experience working with Managed Public Key Infrastructure solutions.

Strong understanding of certificate lifecycle management, PKI architecture, and enterprise authentication technologies.

Experience with DigiCert or similar PKI platforms is preferred.

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments.

Familiarity with Microsoft Intune for certificate delivery and device management.

Proven experience managing external suppliers, service providers, and operational agreements against SLAs and compliance requirements.

Understanding of software development, testing methodologies, and technology delivery processes.

Experience working within global IT environments and complex enterprise infrastructures.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and their application across technology initiatives.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
