Accountabilities: The Licensed Insurance Agent will support customers by providing knowledgeable assistance across personal property and casualty insurance services. The role requires strong communication skills, regulatory awareness, and the ability to resolve inquiries efficiently while maintaining a high level of service quality. Assist members through phone, email, and other communication channels with insurance quotes, new policies, billing questions, underwriting inquiries, and policy modifications. Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs, asking effective questions, and providing accurate solutions to reduce unnecessary transfers and escalations. Process insurance transactions including endorsements, cancellations, and coverage changes while following compliance requirements and internal procedures. Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to research issues, resolve customer concerns, and provide timely information. Maintain required insurance certifications and continuously expand product knowledge to better support customers. Achieve performance goals related to service quality, response times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Manage multiple applications and communication tools while maintaining organization and attention to detail in a remote environment. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have an active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license, customer service experience, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers in a remote setting. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and comfort working with digital tools and insurance systems. Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license required. High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred. Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience required; contact center experience is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills with an empathetic and professional approach. Ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and focus. Understanding of insurance compliance requirements and regulatory standards. Strong research skills, internet proficiency, and ability to quickly learn new products and processes. Basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfort using digital platforms. Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute with 90% accuracy. Ability to meet remote work requirements, including a stable wired internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
