Java Backend/Developer

Accountabilities: The Java Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. The role requires strong technical ownership, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Build scalable and secure APIs and backend services to support business applications.

Analyze technical requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions.

Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable features and improvements.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure application quality through clean coding practices, testing, and adherence to development standards.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in production environments.

Contribute to system architecture decisions and support the evolution of backend platforms.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a backend engineer with strong Java development experience and a proven ability to build enterprise-grade applications. Candidates should have solid technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.

Strong proficiency in Java programming and backend development practices.

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.

Experience working with databases and backend data management solutions.

Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and deliver effective solutions.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.

Self-driven mindset with the ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work.

Experience working in enterprise applications or large-scale systems is a plus.
