Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native services supporting enterprise SaaS environments.

Drive initiatives across key reliability areas, including capacity planning, autoscaling, disaster recovery, observability, change management, and infrastructure optimization.

Support FedRAMP-compliant operations by ensuring production systems meet security, compliance, and availability requirements.

Develop automation solutions and self-sustaining operational processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and deployment safety.

Manage and optimize distributed systems, databases, Kubernetes-based applications, and cloud infrastructure components.

Contribute to architecture improvements for data platforms, service networking, and cloud-first application security.

Participate in an on-call rotation to support production environments and ensure timely incident response and resolution.

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance, operational workflows, and customer experience.

Build and maintain tooling using modern programming languages, scripting frameworks, and infrastructure automation technologies.

Work with open-source technologies and cloud platforms to enhance the scalability and maintainability of production systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale applications.

U.S. Citizenship required.

Experience managing FedRAMP environments, regulated systems, or other security-focused SaaS platforms.

Proven experience designing, developing, or operating distributed database systems and highly available cloud applications.

Strong programming skills in Python, Go (Golang), or similar languages.

Experience with scripting languages such as Bash for automation and operational tasks.

Knowledge of Kubernetes-based environments and cloud-native application architectures.

Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), or similar cloud technologies is preferred.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Ansible, Pulumi, or equivalent solutions is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex production challenges.
