Accountabilities: The Director of Operations & Systems will oversee operational systems, logistics execution, fulfillment performance, and team development while ensuring the infrastructure supports continued business growth. Key responsibilities include:

Own and manage the operational technology ecosystem, including ERP systems, EDI platforms, integrations, shipping tools, returns systems, and reporting workflows.

Serve as the primary owner of operational systems configuration, troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage ERP processes including item setup, order flows, inventory synchronization, operational reporting, and data accuracy.

Lead systems onboarding for new partners, including 3PL integrations, retailer mappings, testing, documentation, and implementation.

Guide operational system transitions, migrations, and process redesign while maintaining uninterrupted business operations.

Manage distribution operations through warehouse teams and external partners, ensuring strong performance across throughput, order accuracy, shipping timelines, and returns processing.

Oversee 3PL relationships, including partner selection, service-level agreements, performance tracking, capacity planning, negotiations, and cost management.

Lead peak season readiness by coordinating staffing plans, inventory positioning, carrier capacity, and operational execution.

Manage wholesale and EDI operations, including order acknowledgments, ASNs, retailer compliance requirements, labeling standards, and chargeback prevention.

Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, receiving processes, reconciliations, and operational controls across warehouses and systems.

Oversee inbound logistics, including international freight, customs, duties, and delivery planning.

Partner with production teams to align manufacturing timelines with inventory availability, launches, and customer commitments.

Develop operational teams by establishing KPIs, training programs, accountability standards, and performance expectations.

Create and maintain SOPs, operational dashboards, and reporting rhythms to improve efficiency and scalability.

Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, finance, production, and commerce teams to align operational priorities with business goals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader with strong technical systems expertise and a proven track record managing complex fulfillment and supply chain environments. Required qualifications include:

7+ years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, distribution operations, or supply chain management within apparel, retail, eCommerce, or consumer products.

Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams and developing operational talent.

Hands-on experience owning and administering mid-market cloud ERP systems and EDI platforms.

Proven ability to configure, troubleshoot, and improve operational systems independently.

Experience onboarding partners onto ERP and EDI ecosystems, including retailer mappings, 3PL integrations, testing, and go-live processes.

Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and multi-channel commerce operations.

Experience managing inbound international freight, customs processes, duties, and domestic distribution operations.

Proven experience managing 3PL partnerships, including selection, SLA negotiations, performance reviews, and optimization.

Wholesale and B2B operations experience, including retailer compliance requirements, routing guides, ASNs, and chargeback management.

Strong process-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail and operational discipline.

Ability to build scalable workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities and high ownership expectations.

Willingness to travel regularly to support operational sites and partners.
