Communication Specialist

Accountabilities Create, edit, and deliver high-quality communication materials, including newsletters, alerts, customer letters, talking points, fact sheets, text messages, and other digital content.

Collaborate with communication teams and internal stakeholders to develop messaging that aligns with audience needs, project objectives, and brand standards.

Manage individual communication projects from planning through execution, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations are met.

Develop and execute email campaigns using visual editing tools while maintaining consistency across communication channels.

Review and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, proper grammar, and strong overall presentation.

Support additional communication initiatives and contribute to process improvements as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven experience creating, writing, editing, and proofreading professional communications content across multiple formats.

Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and communication channels.

Experience developing content for digital platforms, including email campaigns, websites, social media, mobile alerts, and other digital communication tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining strong organization, attention to detail, and quality standards.

Excellent collaboration skills with experience working across teams, including creative, design, and business stakeholders.

Strong communication, prioritization, and project management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
