Accountabilities:
Prepare and submit claims for acquired and sold properties in accordance with established processes and regulatory requirements.
Conduct monthly process control audits, vendor audits, and system data integrity reviews, providing findings and trend analysis to management.
Research claims, prepare documentation for internal and external audits, and support compliance initiatives.
Resolve operational escalations within the designated scope of responsibility while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Assist with onboarding and training of new and existing team members and contribute to maintaining department procedures, job aids, and process documentation.
Draft professional written communications to internal stakeholders and support continuous process improvements while performing additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in default mortgage servicing, mortgage insurance claims, or a related legal environment.
Strong understanding of mortgage servicing practices, claims processing, foreclosure guidelines, and industry regulations.
Experience using the LPS-MSP Mortgage Servicing Platform is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality and high standards of accuracy.
Previous leadership or team mentoring experience is preferred.
