Accountabilities: The Chief Technology Officer, Principal will provide strategic technology leadership across an Army-focused portfolio, ensuring technology initiatives align with mission requirements, business objectives, and future innovation opportunities. Identify and translate client digital needs into technology strategies and solutions across core business areas. Develop and oversee the implementation of technology architectures, solutions, and long-term strategies. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend capabilities that improve products, services, and operational outcomes. Provide executive-level reporting on technology status, priorities, progress, and strategic initiatives. Align technology resources, investments, and priorities with short-term and long-term organizational goals. Serve as a strategic leader within executive committees to connect technology objectives with broader business priorities. Drive complex solution development efforts and guide technical teams through challenging projects. Develop business cases, technical strategies, and proposal materials to support growth initiatives. Collaborate across a matrixed organization to deliver integrated solutions and achieve shared objectives. Manage technology budgets effectively while ensuring resources support mission and business outcomes. Promote strong information security practices and ensure technology solutions follow industry best practices. Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to technical teams and stakeholders. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in government contracting, enterprise IT, and complex solution delivery. This leader should combine technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong collaboration skills to drive impactful technology initiatives. Minimum of 6 years of experience in the government contracting and IT market. Demonstrated ability to lead teams through complex technology solution development. Experience creating business cases, solution designs, and proposal artifacts. Strong understanding of enterprise technology functions, IT operations, and modern technology practices. Knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential applications in mission-focused environments. Experience managing large technology budgets and resource planning. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and information security best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet critical deadlines, and operate effectively in complex environments. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams and business units. Advanced degree preferred. Must be a U.S. citizen and meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance; current clearance preferred. Benefits: Full-time salaried position with a remote work environment.
