Accountabilities: The Azure Cloud Architect will be responsible for architecting, designing, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions while ensuring alignment with security, scalability, and operational requirements. Key responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud architectures for complex enterprise environments.

Providing cloud strategy recommendations and technical leadership for public sector transformation initiatives.

Developing scalable solutions across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.

Collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project partners to define cloud requirements and solution approaches.

Creating architecture designs that address performance, reliability, security, and compliance requirements.

Supporting cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.

Evaluating Azure services and recommending best-fit technologies based on business needs.

Applying cloud architecture best practices to support enterprise-level implementations.

Contributing technical expertise throughout solution delivery, implementation, and ongoing improvement activities.

Supporting data, analytics, and cloud platform initiatives where required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced cloud architect with strong Microsoft Azure expertise and a background supporting complex enterprise environments. Required qualifications and skills include:

Minimum 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or Senior Cloud Consultant.

Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Azure cloud solutions.

Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, security, scalability, and infrastructure design.

Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.

Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical architectures.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience working with public sector or highly regulated environments is preferred.

Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications or technical certifications are considered an asset, including:

Designing and Implementing Big Data Analytics Solutions.

Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions.

Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.

Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions.

Designing and Implementing Cloud Data Platform Solutions.

Microsoft Azure MVP experience is considered an asset.

Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance is preferred.

Bilingual fluency in French and English is an asset.
