Advisor GIS Lands & ROW
Accountabilities: Maintain, update, and validate GIS datasets related to land parcels, right-of-way boundaries, agreements, and other spatial assets using ArcGIS technologies.
Edit and manage geospatial data while ensuring compliance with established data governance standards, mapping specifications, and quality requirements.
Develop and maintain automation workflows using Python, ArcPy, FME, and related tools to improve data integration, transformation, and maintenance processes.
Perform spatial analyses and produce maps, reports, and visualizations that support planning, operational activities, and business decision-making.
Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve spatial data inconsistencies and topology issues.
Provide technical GIS support to internal stakeholders by responding to inquiries, resolving data issues, and delivering timely mapping solutions.
Collaborate with GIS specialists, land management professionals, and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects, process improvements, and enterprise GIS initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
At least 4 years of experience working with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, or comparable enterprise GIS platforms in a production environment.
Strong understanding of GIS data structures, geodatabases, coordinate systems, spatial referencing, and geoprocessing methodologies.
Experience maintaining and editing spatial datasets, including land parcels, boundary information, and associated attribute data.
Proficiency with Python scripting (preferably ArcPy), ESRI ModelBuilder, FME, or similar GIS automation technologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to data quality and accuracy.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical GIS concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience within the energy, utilities, infrastructure, or environmental sectors is considered an asset.
Knowledge of land and right-of-way concepts, including easements, leases, cadastral data, and legal land descriptions, is preferred.
Familiarity with enterprise GIS governance, ArcGIS Maps for Power BI, CAD integration, survey data, and external spatial data sources is advantageous.

Salary range for applicable U.S. locations: $80,500–$110,000 USD , depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
