Assistant Sales Manager (Water Product Specialist)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to lead and grow the water quality instrumentation business. This position is responsible for driving sales of advanced water quality analyzers across municipal, industrial, and government sectors through strategic business development, key account management, and effective channel/distributor strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Market Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for water quality analyzers. Identify market opportunities, tenders, and potential projects within water and wastewater applications.

Account & Channel Management: Manage and expand high-value accounts, including water utilities, semiconductor plants, industrial facilities, and engineering firms. Manage and support distributor networks where applicable.

Technical Solutioning & Presentations: Prepare technical-commercial proposals, tender submissions, and conduct product demonstrations. Collaborate with technical, service, and marketing teams to offer integrated client solutions.

Leadership & Operations: Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to ensure consistent performance. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and market intelligence reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or equivalent field.

• Minimum 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in water quality analyzers, analytical instruments, or related environmental technologies.

• Strong technical expertise in online and laboratory water quality analyzers (e.g., pH, conductivity, turbidity, TOC, nutrients, metals).

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and managing major B2B accounts.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills; willingness to travel as required.
