Essential Responsibilities

Own the Indirect spend within the Purchased Services and Travel & Living categories in the Nordic countries Proactively look for leading projects delivering added value, improving our base cost and our efficiency in general You will do this by partnering both with business stakeholders and the category teams at a European and Global level Continuously review and improve processes Communicate regularly with clients within the organization about specific Sourcing strategies; where purchasing brings savings and add value Gives continuous input in developing the Sourcing function towards best practice Advises functions and managers regarding approaches, processes and procedures in sourcing

Role Summary/Purpose

As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will improve the total cost of ownership of the various services within the covered categories by: Deeply understanding the need and the ability to see beyond pre-conceived solutions Leveraging the entire Sourcing organization to take benefit of the company scale and market Improving our abilities to make business more profitable

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree, or a high school diploma with relevant experience in Sourcing or in the operational fields of the mentioned categories (Sales or users) Proven experience in Sourcing/Projects Initiatives Fluency in English and in one Nordic language both spoken and written, Finnish

Curiosity, humility and common sense will be your three best assets Effective problem identification and solution skills: Experience in Lean or similar waste tracking methodologies are preferred Very strong analytical and organizational ability: Project management experience is preferred Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to influence others and lead small teams Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
