Job Summary
As a BIM Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate updates to our Master Floor Plans. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate creative problem-solving and work with your team to ensure accurate blueprints for the organization. These skills will be used to:
Prepare and update residential master documentation and drawing sets
Produce accurate drawing revisions within established timelines
Maintain master files and related supporting materials
Participate in quality control reviews and complete required corrections
Support updates to exteriors, structural options, predetermined options, and related documentation
Assist in analyzing field or production issues and help implement corrective actions
Help communicate and support rollout of updates to lot‑specific production teams
Collaborate with team members across departments to complete assigned work
Follow established drafting, BIM, and documentation standards
Maintain awareness of required company systems, processes, and training
Preferred Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in residential drafting, BIM, CAD, architectural documentation, or a related field
Ability to read and interpret residential construction documents and blueprints
Working knowledge of Revit
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management
Experience in residential construction, drafting, architecture, construction management, or related fields
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred
Physical demands and work environment:
Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers
Ability to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills to operate standard office equipment
Ability to lift and carry approximately 20–25 lbs. unassisted
Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional reaching and standing
