As Senior Strategy Manager/ Executive Assistant (all genders), you will work closely with the executive team, leading strategic planning and spearheading key business development initiatives. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the company’s long-term vision, ensuring it’s executed effectively, and shaping innovation initiatives and embedding process excellence across the organization. Additionally, you’ll support high-level decision-making, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help steer the future direction of the company. Here is what you will do in detail:
What you'll do
Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the commercial and customer experience strategy, as well as the overall company strategy for the tour operator business, providing clear strategic direction and guardrails, and ensuring shared ownership through a collaborative strategy process.
Market & Competitive Analysis: Collect, analyze, and actively embed market trends, competitor positioning, commercial performance, and innovation insights to develop and evaluate strategic options
Business Development: Evaluate new strategic growth opportunities, and identify new markets and business segments within the travel and tourism industry, and efficiency gains and process improvements to optimize company profitability
Stakeholder Management: Build collaborative relationships across teams, maintain alignment with corporate strategy, and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and monitor the performance of strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis and regular reporting
Company Steering: Link strategic long-term goals with annual & quarterly targets processes and facilitate an effective and transparent target steering process across the organization
Executive Support: Assist the executive management team in decision-making, strategic prioritization, and execution of key initiatives.
Project Management: Lead selected strategic projects from concept to implementation readiness, including a smooth transition into line responsibility.
What you'll need
Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, or a related field
5+ years of experience in strategy development, business development, or management consulting as well as operational experience in a core discipline in the tour operator business (ideally Product management)
Solid knowledge of strategic planning frameworks, company steering methodologies and process management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership
