In this role:
- You collect and analyze operational needs from teams responsible for 24/7 network and system activities.
- You translate these needs into clear, actionable specifications for improvements, incidents, and new network configurations—supported by diagrams, workflows, and technical guidelines.
- You document operational tasks and interventions in the form of structured work items, such as incident descriptions, change requests, and enhancement proposals.
- You monitor the progress of these items from analysis to implementation, ensuring smooth coordination with engineering, security, and operational teams.
- You collaborate closely with release and change management to validate updates before they are deployed into production environments.
- You provide explanations and training to internal stakeholders regarding new processes, tools, or network functionalities.
What we expect from you
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, IT Infrastructure, or Network Engineering.
- You bring at least a first relevant professional experience in a network operations or support role.
- You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills in Dutch or French.
- You can summarize technical challenges in a precise and structured way, even for non‑specialized audiences.
- You understand core networking concepts such as routing, switching, firewalls, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Cisco CLI, Palo Alto or Check Point firewalls, monitoring systems, authentication tools, or NAC platforms is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with operational technology (OT) environments or Python scripting is a plus.
- You work accurately, take ownership of your tasks, and are comfortable collaborating with both local and international teams.
