Configuration Analyst - Contract

DISHER is seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer for our customer in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a 6-18 month contract-to-hire opportunity.

What you will get to do: Plan and implement configuration management and data management processes aligned with company standards, business needs, and industry best practices

Serve as a key contributor to Teamcenter as the system of record for:

Engineering documents and drawings

Product structures and Bills of Material (BOMs)

Configuration and revision control

PLC Software

Simulation and Emulation data

Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering documentation including:

Drawings

Specifications

Solution deliverables

Change documentation

Analyze proposed design or configuration changes to assess impact on:

Product structures

Downstream manufacturing and installation

Customer-specific solutions

What will make you successful: 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

Hands-on experience in configuration management

Experience using Siemens Teamcenter and SAP VC

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience administering or supporting Teamcenter PLM

Strong understanding of:

Product structures and BOMs

Engineering drawings and standards

Experience supporting product configuration and variant management

Ability to operate as a self-starter in a fast-evolving digital engineering environment

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, automation approaches, and AI-enabled workflows
