Maintenance Technician - Masonry

Job Summary

Birgo is a mission-driven apartment management company dedicated to improving lives through real estate. We're looking for a Floating Maintenance Technician who specializes in Masonry . This is a full-time, year-round position. In the past, we've contracted out masonry work. Now we want to bring it in-house. Outside of masonry, this person will turn over units and complete work orders in apartments.

Locations : Float to any of the ~14 communities in North Tonawanda, Buffalo, Hamburg, and Lockport.

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay and Benefits

$26-$28/hour, paid weekly (flexible for the right candidate)

Responsibilities

Develop in-house masonry capabilities

Perform skilled exterior and structural work, including brick repair, tuckpointing, and waterproofing

Turnovers/make-readies

In-unit repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC

Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

Eligible to work in the United States

Valid driver’s license

Personal, reliable mode of transportation

Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance

Safely utilize power tools

Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases

Skills

Brick repointing
