Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor / General Builder /Building Works)

Our client is a BCA-registered General Builder with an active pipeline of building projects. They are seeking a hands-on Quantity Surveyor to manage project commercial control from award to final account , working closely with site and project teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow .

Handle progress claims, variations, and final accounts with clients and consultants.

Evaluate, negotiate, and manage subcontractor packages and payments .

Monitor cost exposure, identify risks, and drive commercial recovery .

Support tender pricing and post-contract cost control.

Ensure compliance with contractual and financial procedures .

Requirements Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction Management .

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a QS with a Main Contractor (Building works) . Candidate with more experience will be consider for Senior Role

Proven track record in post-contract cost control and subcontract management .

Familiar with SIA / PSSCOC / BCA contract administration will be advantageous .

Strong in variations, claims, and commercial negotiation .

Able to work closely with site teams under project-driven timelines.
