Role Overview Arabco is looking for an IT Helpdesk Specialist to join its Cairo office and support the company's day-to-day technology needs. This role is responsible for providing first-line technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and helping maintain reliable, well-functioning IT systems across the organization. The ideal candidate is hands-on, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and professional manner

Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices

Set up and manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory

Support Microsoft Office 365 and related productivity tools

Diagnose and resolve basic networking issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues

Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate teams or vendors

Maintain IT inventory and ensure equipment is properly tracked and serviced

Contribute ideas and feedback to improve IT support processes and service quality

Qualifications

Minimum 1+ year of experience in IT Helpdesk, Technical Support, or a related role

Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity

Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory

Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management processes

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and peripherals

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field

IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications, or equivalent) are a plus
