Your Role in Our Kitchen
We are looking for a talented, organised Chef de Partie with a strong sense of leadership. If you see the kitchen as a balance between rigorous technique, creativity, and team management, we want to meet you. As a Chef de Partie, you will be the engine of one of our sections, ensuring the Executive Chef’s vision reaches the guest’s table flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support: Efficiently assist with the daily kitchen service across different sections, meeting the timings and standards defined by the head chefs.
Rigorous Mise en Place: Prepare and organise the ingredients and bases required for the various services, ensuring the highest quality and consistency.
Section Organisation: Keep your section clean, tidy, and operational throughout the service, ensuring correct storage, labelling, and stock rotation.
Teamwork and Proactivity: Work in close collaboration with the Chefs de Partie and Sous Chefs, demonstrating a strong supportive attitude and a positive mindset.
Stock Control: Assist with stock control, order deliveries, and the smart management of food waste.
Safety Guardian (HACCP): Strictly comply with all food hygiene, health and safety, and cleaning standards within your work area.
Gastronomic Curiosity: Show a keen interest in the culinary evolution of the project, participating in tastings and the development of new preparations when requested.
Essential Skills:
Practical Experience: Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment is mandatory, ideally with a mindset focused on learning and self-improvement.
Solid Foundations: Sound basic technical skills and the ability to execute preparations with sharp attention to detail and consistency.
Team Spirit: Strong communication skills, humility, and the ability to seamlessly integrate into a dynamic, multicultural team.
Thriving Under Pressure: Ability to maintain composure, precision, and punctuality during high-volume services.
Languages: Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory; knowledge of English is highly valued.
Alignment with the Concept: A genuine interest in local produce, respect for seasonality, and a passion for gastronomy.
